Thank you to all who blessed us with your presence and prayers during this difficult time. We are especially grateful to those who helped provide a lovely dinner by preparing food, donating dishes, setting up and cleaning up. We felt the love during these last few weeks of Pat’s (Lori Bajkiewicz’s Mom) life on this earth. Blessings, The Meyer family
Mission Seed Money Project: We are putting the parable of the talents into practice. Envelopes of "seed money" are ready for those who would like to participate; $30 for individuals and $60 for families. Ask the Holy Spirit for creative ways to multiply the seed money. Then, bring the harvest on Sunday morning, Dec 22 and Christmas Eve, Dec 24th. The seed money plus the surplus will be given to our missionaries and God will be glorified! In the weeks to come we will share their specific needs. God may lead you to allocate your offering to one or more of these or our Missions General Fund.
Inside-Out Next Thursday: We will be preparing a meal in Redeemer’s kitchen for Second Wind, a group of 12-15 women who are sex trafficking survivors. The Helps Team is funding the meal. Tristan Curry will lead the meal prep in Redeemer’s kitchen on Thursday, October 24th starting at 6:30pm. We are asking for hands and hearts that will help put together a casserole-type dish on Thursday night that can be re-heated and delivered by an all-women team to the designated location on Friday, October 25th at 5pm. Kids and adults who want be part of meal prep are welcome! We will also put together a salad, and a dessert TBD. At that time on Thursday, our kids will color place mats for the women (in between running around the gym), and some of us can listen for prophetic words for them, and write those on cards that our team will deliver. The grace that we have been given will be poured out for those God has not forgotten. Jesus loves these women, and this is chance for him to love them through us! TC

Our Church is a Worship Training Ground...for Kids! Redeemer is a worshiping church! Redeemer trains kids to love God and to do great things in His Kingdom! These two declarations are absolute truth about who we are as a church. It's time to go to the next level in training our kids in worship: What is worship? How do we worship? Why do we worship? This is not a training to be done by a few teachers, but corporately and within our homes. Parents: You are the greatest mentors and models to your children about worship. Deuteronomy 11:18-19 instructs parents to teach their children about God's ways when we sit at home, when we're on the road, when we lie down and when we get up...that doesn't leave much down time and our corporate times of worship are not excluded! At Redeemer, we welcome freedom to worship with movement, flags & banners, singing, etc. But true freedom isn't chaos. Our children need to learn and embrace that these moments are for God's glory, not their own. Will you join us in training them to this next level? You can help by participating in the following: 1. Your child is welcome to come worship in the front, back or the sides of the sanctuary. If your child chooses to do this, we ask that you join them where they go so that you can help monitor and train them in these moments. Teach them to mirror your movements, to listen to and/or read closely the words that are being sung to God, and to match their worship movements to what they're singing. Help them to pay attention to the dynamics of the room - is it time for a joyful "noise" or is it time for quiet listening? 2. There are kid-friendly worship flags available in the Worship Arts area of the sanctuary. If your child would like to use a flag , we ask that you accompany them to pick one and then stay with them to help them use that tool in a safe and God-honoring way. If you would be interested in more ways that you can help teach your children about worship, please see Holly Collins or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
